Christian Center Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE:
1.
In the verbal inspiration of the Scriptures, both the Old
and New Testaments.
2. Our God is a trinity in unity, manifested in three
persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His
virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in his
vicarious and atoning death on the cross, in His bodily
resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the
Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4. That regeneration by the Holy Ghost for the salvation
of lost and sinful man, through faith in the shed blood
of Jesus Christ, in absolutely essential.
5. In a life of holiness, without which no man can
see the Lord, through sanctification as a definite, yet
progressive, work of grace.
6. In the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, received subsequent
to the new birth, with the speaking in other tongues, as
the Spirit gives utterance, as the initial physical sign.
7. In water baptism by immersion for believers only,
which is a direct commandment of our Lord, in the Name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
8. In the Lords Supper and washing of the saints
feet.
9. That divine healing is provided for in the atonement,
and is available to all who truly believe.
10. In the premillennial second coming of Jesus:
first, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away
the living saints to meet Him in the air; and, second, to
reign on the earth a thousand years.
11. In the bodily resurrection of both the saved
and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection
of life, and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
Mission Statement: Walk it! Talk it! Go ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Matt 28:19) Preaching
the truth with Pentecostal Power: (Acts 2:4, 38-41) The
Gospel of Jesus Christ must be preached with Holy Ghost
power in the world today. That Power is not only word but
deed. Its one thing to say its so, and another thing to
live it so. A new commandment I give unto you (said our
Lord Jesus the Christ), That ye love one another; as I have
loved you, that ye also love one another. (John 13:34) This
my friend is where CHRIST MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. Give everything
to Jesus and he will take care of you. LET GO & LET GOD
